I'm expecting my kit within the next couple of days. Is anyone interested in the near future in getting a build party together? I'm from Newton county.

I'm not sure, I bet something could be worked out though.

At the last get-together in South Bend, Brendan was mentioning doing another one again sometime this month. I don't know if that's still happening or not seeing as the month is nearing a close though...

So I've been working on my kit, rough trimming is done, large pieces are sanded. I fitted and glued the left forearm and decided my gluing technique leaves a lot to be desired. :?

What kind of glue are you using? I like to use zap a gap glue with a spray activator which instantly attaches the two pieces without any glue running or parts coming out of line.

I'm using E6000. I decided to try it after reading how forgiving it is. I remember using CA with an activator back in my knife making days for small applications. Never thought about it for this big of a project.

Lots of folks use that. It's good stuff smells funny takes a while to dry. The superglue with the activator is really fast and another nice way to do it. We need to have an armory party so we can meet you and help you get started.

I suppose the zap a gap would go a lot quicker and the need for magnets wouldnt be there.
