Hey, my name is Obey Wann, IC-6960... I've been with the Rebel Legion since 2002 and 501st since 2005. I've done a ton of kits over the years, including TS, TS and I currently have a standard Imperial Crew. I'm also starting a build for a custom Mando.








I'm moving to the greater South Bend area mid-January. Initially, we will be in Bristol (about 45 minutes east of South Bend). In time, I want to buy a house in the greater SB area. (Granger, Elkhart, etc...). We have family out there, and I'm going full time remote work with my job with the US Department of Interior.

I'm also curious to know if there are many troop opportunities in the South Bend area, or if it is more travel to Indy or other places. I still have an Imperial Crew costume... don't have any Rebel Legion kits anymore.

I'm looking forward to meeting you, and getting to know you all. If anyone is local to SB and wants to hit me up on Faceborg, PM me and I'll give you my info.

There are many troops in the South Bend / Mishawaka / Central area of the state. However, being central, it is not too far from Fort Wayne or Merrillville areas. Maybe an hour or so drive.

We typically have troops going on at least every couple of weeks. In January / February / March we use down time for armor parties, etc.

You're coming in during the slow time of the year. Jan-Mar we only get a couple of troops but that picks up in the spring again. From the SB area its about a 2hrs hr drive to the west and east edges of the garrison so that would be the furthest you would have to go.

for the area about 30 min around SB we usually have a troop or two a month on average.

We are also in the slow times in Denver, it is a great time to do armor parties and fix stuff that broke while trooping.

I'll be buying a place some time in the next few months. In the mean time, we are in a 5th wheel RV and will be parking it at a family member's property in Bristol.

I can't wait, we are so excited to finally be out there for good.

So I’m here and getting settled in. We are in a temporary house in Bristol until we buy one some time in April/May ish.

I have an approved IC/TIE Reserve, and signed up for the Blue and Gold event in Mishawaka this Saturday.
