Hey, So I have been interested in joining the 501st for several years now. I was at C2E2 last year and got some really good info from the midwest garrison about a armor kit for a stormtrooper from anovos. Well I finally have a ship date and should be here tomorrow. FINALLY!! They also expressed that I should look into the Northern Darkness Garrison since I live in NWI. I met a few from the Garrison at the Valpo Convention on Halloween. If you were there you might remember Jon Snow. If there is any information you might have on trimming these pieces or tricks on putting it together, I would love to read through it. I really don't want to mess this up. I am not the most crafty of persons. I believe I have most of the tools though. Would love to have it completed before C2E2 this year which is like a month and a half away. Thanks in advance for any information you might lend to me. |

Welcome to the boards! I'd love to help out with getting you started on your armor, and I'm sure there are others that would want to help as well! I'm going to C2E2 this year, so I know what kind of timeframe you're looking at. It's doable, but with help. We have build parties every now and then, those would be perfect for what you're looking to learn... If we have one coming up between now and then, bring your stuff and we'll help you out! |

Welcome to NDG. We will be having quite a few armor parties in the near future due to new recruits and members getting ANOVOS and other builders armor in the next few weeks. Not sure where you're based out of, but we are having an armor party on Sat morning in South Bend. there are 4 new recruits coming to and we will be going over basic cutting and assembly with them so they feel comfortable to get started when their armor arrives. ill PM you the details for the party -Duff |

Awesome. I am in Crown Point. So South Bend isn't a terribly far drive to get to. I will have to meet up with ya at C2E2 look for the guy dressed as Jon Snow with glasses. haha. I am usually the only one crazy enough to wear a complete winter garb. At least this year it will be in March. |

Also ordered a the voice box stuff and boots. Just need to find a good price for a E-11. Do you know if the body suit that comes with it will work or should i order one with a hood. |

My undersuit I got from Trooperbay.com, but the shirt ripped fairly son after getting it. Honestly, the best indersuit shirt I've had in my current one, and I got it at Wal-Mart for $20 or so. I can show it to you at the bet together today
