Hello all! I live in Fort Wayne and am interested in the 501st so I thought I would introduce myself. I have started the research to build a Rav Bralor and will definitely need advice/help for the armor! Would it be acceptable to come to the March 14th Mad Ants event and meet part of the group? How does that work? Looking forward to being involved with such a great group - I've heard awesome comments about your members  Stacey |

Hello Stacey! It would be great to visit at the Mad Ants or any of our upcoming events! I think we are planning an armor party on March 1st and that would be an ideal opportunity to meet some of our members and talk specifics of the costume you want to work on. Welcome Stacy! We have a bunch of members here in the Wayne, myself included. We do have some armor parties and a few awesome events coming up. Keep a lookout and come on down to hang out and meet the gang! |

They'll start steering you in the right direction. Also, I've done a lot of research in the past with making Mandalorian armor. I might be able to help a little with the actual build process |

Stacey - we are having an armor party on the 1st at Curt's house in Buchanan, MI or on the 15th in Ft. Wayne at Books, Comics, and Things. If you need addresses post here or send us a PM. I will probably be heading out to the armor party at Curt's on the 1st (this Sunday), so if you want to go to that carpooling with a couple of us from Fort Wayne is always an option. |

Welcome Stacey, like the other fellas said come to as many events as you can! You'll learn how things work without the worry some task of trooping in armor while trying to figure everything out. Defenety check out this web site read as much as you can there is a ton of information here along with the rules and NDG code of conduct. We have a lot of fun and we're all pretty laid back. |

I'm curious about building/buying a set and joining, but I don't know how soon. Which Books Comics and Things? Aren't there two of them in Fort Wayne? Is it something I can bring my son to as well? I'd love to be able to get him a set, but he's still young and growing up quickly. Also, what time will you meet? Thanks! |
